The IB Diploma Programme is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, aged 16 to 18, for success at university and life beyond. The Diploma Programme prepares students for effective participation in a rapidly evolving and increasingly global society as they develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically and acquire breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, studying courses from six subject groups. Core modules of the IB Diploma Programme include the study at least two languages; an extended essay that requires independent research and study; a unique Theory of Knowledge programme that explore the nature of knowledge and its importance in human experience and a creativity, action, service (CAS) programme, which involves students in a range of activities alongside their academic studies – arts and creative; physical activity and service within the community.
