Dubai Modern Educational School (1996)

Dubai Modern Education School (DMES) is one of Dubai’s most family orientated co-educational schools, offering both US and MOE curricula for students Grades KG - 12. The school is set just off Algeria Street, Mizhar. DMES was established in 1996, and moved to its current location in 2001. Many of our students are from local families, many of whom have chosen DMES as the preferred school over two generations; we are very proud of this. We try to maintain a close sense of community between the pupils, staff and parents, and intend to develop this further as the school moves forward. That said, we are also all encompassing, with students and a staff faculty from all over the world who we embrace as one family. We provide children of all academic abilities and ages with an opportunity to reach their personal potential in subjects and activities in which they show promise, from Math, Science and languages, to the arts and sports. And whilst academic excellence and success are a high priority, we think that it is important to maintain a very caring, family atmosphere at DMES through our homeroom student development of morals and values, representative of our local families. We have well-qualified and committed staff that make the happiness, security and personal development of each child and student their priority. All the staff at DMES put every effort into getting to know the students they teach and we all take enormous pleasure in helping our current students to flourish in a nurturing environment. We encourage the students to succeed academically and to become responsible and thoughtful people so that they leave DMES well-rounded and as prepared as possible for the challenges and adventures that lie ahead.
